BackgroundLumanai Samoa was founded after Hiroyuki Urasaki (current Representative), who had been individually engaged in support activities for Samoa, met Hidetoshi Ujihara (current member), a former Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteer (JOCV) in Samoa. Sharing a strong desire to give back to Samoa, they began working together, which led to the establishment of the organization.
MissionTo promote human resource development and cultural exchange between Samoa and Japan through medical and educational support activities in the Independent State of Samoa.
