2012Hiroyuki Urasaki, Representative, reached an agreement with the Samoa Dental Council to implement a preventive dental care program for children at Saipipi Primary School on Savai‘i Island, Samoa.
2013Launched a preventive dental care program for students at Saipipi Primary School, including oral health checkups and fluoride mouth-rinse activities. Donations of teaching materials and stationery were also initiated.
2014Conducted preventive dental health examinations at Saipipi Primary School.
2015Began discussions on educational support initiatives for primary schools in Samoa.
2016Hidetoshi Ujihara, Ex-Co-Representative, joined the activities.
A project report meeting was held for teachers in the Saipipi area and a former Minister of Health, where project outcomes were presented and the continuation of the program was approved.
2017Held a project report meeting for stakeholders of Saipipi Primary School to share the outcomes of the initiative.
2018Daiji Furuse, Wakako Ito, and Akiho Itagaki joined, and the NGO Lumanai Samoa was officially established.
An exhibition titled “Talofa Samoa – Learning About Life in a South Pacific Island Nation” and a museum lecture were held at the Kagawa University Museum.
2019Initiated discussions on periodontal disease treatment with local dentists at Tuasivi National Hospital.
2025Obtained legal status and reorganized as Lumanai Samoa, General Incorporated Association.
