Our Mission
In the Independent State of Samoa, we work collaboratively with local communities to provide medical and educational support. By sharing the experiences gained through these activities with people in both Samoa and Japan, we aim to promote human resource development as well as cultural exchange between the two countries.
The name Lumanai means “future.” It reflects our hope to foster cultural and people-to-people exchange between Japan and Samoa at the community level. By continuously sharing information about Samoa with people in Japan, and about Japan with people in Samoa, we strive to serve as a bridge between the people of both countries and, ultimately, to help lay a foundation for lasting friendship and mutual understanding.
